Using the Polar Coordinates Effect: "Digital Ikebana"

Converting rectangular (or x and y) coordinates to polar (distance and angle) coordinates can produce some interesting images. We will explore some of the possibilities using sample images and also the variations produced by positioning an image on a larger canvas.
